
An awareness camp about not burning paddy stubble was organized at Government Senior Secondary School, village Hoshiarpur.

A one-day awareness camp was organized in Government Senior Secondary School, village Hoshiarpur under the project of not burning paddy stubble on behalf of the city.

A one-day awareness camp was organized in Government Senior Secondary School, village Hoshiarpur under the project of not burning paddy stubble on behalf of the city.
This camp Dr. Balbir Singh Khada, Deputy Director Krishi Vigyan Kendra, S. one S. Nagar and held under the leadership of Mrs. Suhinder Kaur, Principal Government Senior Secondary School, Village Hoshiarpur. In this awareness camp, poster making and slogan writing competitions were organized in which more than 100 students participated. Akshapreet Kaur won the first place, Ranveer Singh won the second place and Simranpreet Kaur won the third place in the slogan writing competition.
Similarly, in the poster making competition, Jasdeep Singh won the first place, Jashnpreet Kaur won the second place, Arshpreet Kaur and Shelley won the third place. Students were also felicitated during the program. During this camp Dr. Parul Gupta also gave technical information about the damage caused by straw and its maintenance. Dr. Komal explained the method of using straw in animal feed by modifying it with urea. Dr. Balbir Singh Khada gave information about the proper management of livestock and straw. A rally was also taken out by the school students to spread awareness among the people of the village. At the end of the program, Smt. Suhinder Kaur thanked the guests and assured full cooperation in this campaign.
