Booths and shops in Mohali Motor Market will be allotted soon: Cabinet Minister Mundian assures in the Assembly

Chandigarh, February 25- The draw process for the booth/shop numbers to be given to motor mechanics by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) in Sector-65 of SAS Nagar near village Kambali has been completed. GMADA had applied in January 2025 to get this project registered with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and after registration with RERA, allotment letters of these booths/shops will be issued.

Chandigarh, February 25- The draw process for the booth/shop numbers to be given to motor mechanics by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) in Sector-65 of SAS Nagar near village Kambali has been completed. GMADA had applied in January 2025 to get this project registered with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and after registration with RERA, allotment letters of these booths/shops will be issued.
This initiative is part of GMADA's effort to streamline the allotment process and make transparency credible in the allotment of commercial spaces. This information was given by Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian in response to a question in the Question Hour during the Assembly session. He said that the allotment letters will be issued after being formally registered with RERA following the regulatory requirements.
He was giving this information in response to a question raised by MLA Kulwant Singh regarding the allotment of the motor market built by GMADA in Mohali. Mr. Mundian said that the necessary process is being completed by GMADA to get this project registered with RERA and allotment letters will be issued as soon as registration is received from RERA.
