Garhshanker, October 4 - Like every year, this year too, Dussehra Trust Rampur Birdon organized a flag ceremony under the leadership of Ravi Raj Khanna in connection with Dussehra. Nambardar Kushal Singh Rana inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon and after circumambulating the entire village, the flag was hoisted at Dussehra ground Rampur Birdon.
On this occasion, the committee members said that on October 12, Saturday, the 34th annual Dussehra festival will be celebrated with great pomp in the school ground by Dussehra Trust and Gram Panchayat Rampur Birdon. In which captivating scenes will come on the stage and the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakaran, Meghnath will be set on fire.
Speaking on this occasion, the committee chairman on behalf of Dussehra Trust said that the festival of Dussehra is a symbol of evil and good. He said that we should try to follow the path of truth shown by Lord Ram Chandra. On this occasion, President Ravi Raj Khanna, Rajiv Khanna, Dr. Sambhu Rana, Gopal Sadal, Kuvinder Mistry, Shivraj Rana, Narinder Mistry, Deepal Rana, Chhinda Painter, Bharat, Prince Rana, Rahul Sadal, Sambhu Sarpanch, Suchi Sarpanch, Harmeshwar Sarpanch Birdon and all the citizens were present and appealed that no person should come to the Dussehra festival after consuming intoxication and no mischievous elements should try to spoil the atmosphere of this Dussehra festival.
