Patiala, October 2 - The theater and film production department of Punjabi University staged a play dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, 'Chhipan to Pehlan'. Written by Davinder Daman, this play was directed by Balkaran Brar.
The head of the department, Dr. Harjit, while giving information in this regard, said that under the leadership of the coordinator, Dr. Jaspal Deol, the students doing MA Theater and Film Production in the department participated in this presentation. The story of the play is related to the time Shaheed Bhagat Singh spent in jail. The play shows how great a man Bhagat Singh was.
The play shows how he gives the garbage collector in the prison equal status to his mother. Gursevak Singh played the role of Shaheed Bhagat in the play. Gagandeep Singh Sandhu in the role of Boghe, Jot Beniwal in the role of the mother and Manpreet Singh in the role of the lawyer left an impression with their acting.
