University College Miranpur started a red ribbon chain under the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign

Devigarh (Patiala), October 2 - University College Miranpur Red Ribbon Club of the college in collaboration with Dharma Studies Manch and Nehru Yuva Kendra Patiala organized a special program under the cleanliness and service campaign and started the Red Ribbon Chain. This program was conducted under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, in which college students participated enthusiastically.

Devigarh (Patiala), October 2 - University College Miranpur Red Ribbon Club of the college in collaboration with Dharma Studies Manch and Nehru Yuva Kendra Patiala organized a special program under the cleanliness and service campaign and started the Red Ribbon Chain. This program was conducted under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, in which college students participated enthusiastically.
On this occasion, the nodal officer of the Red Ribbon Club, Assistant Professor Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh, while making the students aware of the activities of the Red Ribbon Club, shed light on the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign being run by the Government of India. He said that cleanliness is not just an individual responsibility, but it is a collective responsibility, in which everyone should contribute. Service means selflessly working for the welfare of others, rising above self-interest.
On this occasion, College Incharge Dr. Manpreet Kaur welcomed Sardar Malkit Singh who came from Nehru Yuva Kendra and encouraged the students to actively participate in such programs. Dr. Mani Inderpal Singh thanked the dignitaries who came to the students On this occasion Sardar Raghbir Singh, PTA member of the college specially attended and promised to support such programs at the college. On this occasion, three best students were selected, among them Mehek and Sonia of BA Part III and Kuldeep Singh of BA Part I.
Dr. Nishu Garg, Dr. Rajinder Singh Sohal and a large number of students participated in this program At the end of the programme, the principal, staff and members of the Red Ribbon Club and students took an oath to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness in the society and to keep their surroundings clean.
