SAS Nagar, September 28- Member of Punjab State Traders Commission, Vineet Verma today visited the property tax branch of Municipal Corporation Mohali and reviewed the facilities provided by the Municipal Corporation for depositing property tax with 10 percent discount to tax payers till September 30. took And especially, the difficulties faced by the traders in depositing taxes were solved on the spot.
 A member of the Punjab State Traders Commission, a government organization formed by the Punjab government to protect the interests of traders, further said that the purpose of this visit was to ensure exemption to all eligible citizens without any harassment. Vineet Verma added that as a member of the Punjab State Traders Commission, he was also concerned about the interests of the traders.
 He said that the municipal corporation officials assured him that the elderly or widows who cannot come to the municipal corporation office have been given the facility of online payment or the facility of paying from home.
 Similarly, those with new buildings and those who want to deposit property tax for the first time are being facilitated by generating UID on the spot by taking ownership and building plan documents along with front and back photos of the property.
 Superintendent Property Tax, MC Mohali Avtar Kalsia assured the member of Punjab State Traders Commission that they will ensure all possible assistance to citizens who want to deposit residential/commercial/industrial property tax at the office. He said that as per the directions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner T. Benith, the Municipal Corporation office will work on Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5 pm to facilitate citizens in receiving property tax payment. The last date to avail 10 percent rebate (rebate) on tax deposit is September 30.
 Member Vineet Verma said that everyone should take advantage of the 10 percent discount announced by the government for those who deposit property tax by September 30. So that the tax collection targets as well as the benefit of exemption can be availed by all the eligible persons.
