Under this, various school vehicles were checked at Block Banga today.

Under this, various school vehicles were checked at Block Banga today.
Which included buses of Cambridge School, St. Soldier Public School, Shivalik School, Scholar Public School and Akal Academy Gobindpura etc. District Child Protection Officer Kanchan Arora said that during this campaign, documents of a total of 12 buses of about 8 schools were checked and challans were also issued for 4 school buses violating the conditions of the Safe School Vehicle Policy.
On this occasion, the team made it clear to the drivers of school vehicles that vehicles not fulfilling the conditions of the Safe School Vehicle Policy will not be spared and due legal action will be ensured. He said that the District Child Protection Office is periodically informing the principals of schools and drivers of school vehicles about the conditions of the Safe School Vehicle Policy, such as CCTV cameras, iron grills on the windows, first aid boxes, lady conductors, bus drivers wearing school uniforms, wearing seat belts, not seating more than the capacity of the school bus, etc.
Apart from this, the drivers of school vehicles should also have complete vehicle documents so that they do not face any kind of problem. He said that only through good safety of children can their good future be expected. He also appealed to the general public to inspect the buses before sending their children in school buses so that they can ensure the safety of their children. Along with this, Ramandeep Singh ATO warned the school bus drivers that no leniency will be shown in stopping the buses or issuing challans for violating the Safe School Vehicle Policy.
He said that all the drivers should get their and their buses' documents correct before bringing the buses on the road. On this occasion, Child Protection Officer Gaurav Sharma, Outreach Worker Kanta, Raj Kumar from the Education Department, ASI Jaswinder Pal from the Police Department and Balwant Singh Traffic Police Banga and Junior Assistant Jatinder Singh were also present.
