Mahilpur/Hoshiarpur, September 23:- Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai ??Krishan Singh Rowdy today inaugurated Aam Aadmi Clinic Mahilpur under Block Paldi and Aam Aadmi Clinic Habowal under Block Posi. Aam Aadmi Party's constituency in-charge Harminder Singh Sandhu, Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra were also specially present on the occasion.
Addressing the local residents on the occasion of inauguration of two Aam Aadmi Clinics, the Deputy Speaker said that the Punjab Government is committed to provide quality healthcare facilities to the public through Aam Aadmi Clinics. He said that till now 71 Aam Aadmi Clinics opened earlier in various phases in District Hoshiarpur are providing healthcare services to the people very smoothly. Under the sixth phase of Aam Aadmi Clinics, two more Aam Aadmi Clinics are being dedicated today at Mahilpur and Habowal to provide quality and free healthcare services to the people of the surrounding villages. Here local residents can get free treatment as well as 38 types of investigation facilities and 80 types of free medicines. He instructed the newly appointed medical officer and the rest of the clinic staff to perform their duties diligently and to adopt a friendly attitude towards the patients visiting the clinic.
During this, Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra said that OPD services, vaccination services, lab tests, maternity services, family planning services will also be available in Aam Aadmi Clinic. Due to which people will get high quality health facilities near their home. On this occasion, Senior Medical Officer Block PHC Paldi Dr. Javindarwant Singh Bains, Senior Medical Officer CHC Mahilpur Dr. Jaswant Singh Thind, Senior Medical Officer PHC Posi Dr. Raghbir Singh, District Health Officer Dr. Jatinder Bhatia, Medical Officer Aam Aadmi Clinic, OSD Charanjit Singh and local people also participated.
