Delhi High Court issues notice to Pooja Khelkar

Delhi, Sep 19- The Union Public Service Commission on Thursday moved the Delhi High Court against disqualified IAS probationary officer Pooja Khedkar, alleging that she had lied by submitting false documents to create prejudice. The UPSC alleges that Khedkar tried to tamper with the judicial system and committed perjury by filing a false affidavit.

Delhi, Sep 19- The Union Public Service Commission on Thursday moved the Delhi High Court against disqualified IAS probationary officer Pooja Khedkar, alleging that she had lied by submitting false documents to create prejudice. The UPSC alleges that Khedkar tried to tamper with the judicial system and committed perjury by filing a false affidavit.
Pooja Khedkar's claim of the commission collecting biometrics is completely false, the UPSC said, rejecting the said claim, said the commission did not collect any biometrics (eyes and fingerprints) during her personality test or make any attempt to conduct verification on the basis of the same. The commission has not collected biometric information from any candidate during the personality test of the civil services examinations conducted so far.
A bench of Justice Subramonium Prasad sought a response from Pooja Khedkar in this regard and listed the matter for September 26 along with Pooja Khedkar's anticipatory bail case pending in the Delhi High Court. This bench of Delhi High Court is currently also considering the anticipatory bail plea of ??Pooja Khedkar and she has been granted interim relief from arrest in this case.
