Baljinder Mann's practical book 'Jewels of Knowledge' published in Khalsa College Mahilpur

Mahilpur - On the occasion of a literary event organized by the Post Graduate Punjabi Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur in collaboration with Progressive Writers Union (Unit Mahilpur), the prose book 'Jewel of Knowledge' by Shiromani Punjabi children's writer Baljinder Mann was presented to the public.

Mahilpur - On the occasion of a literary event organized by the Post Graduate Punjabi Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur in collaboration with Progressive Writers Union (Unit Mahilpur), the prose book 'Jewel of Knowledge' by Shiromani Punjabi children's writer Baljinder Mann was presented to the public. And a think tank was organized. Senior Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal Jitinder Singh Lali Bajwa attended as the chief guest on this occasion. Sikh Education Council Secretary Prof Apinder Singh, Senior Vice President Gurpreet Singh Bains, Kulwinder Singh Janda, Dr. Parvinder Singh, Dr. Dharmapal Sahil, writer Baljinder Mann and Dr. Jagmohan Singh Baddon were present in the presiding committee of the ceremony.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Parvinder Singh, Principal of the college shared the welcome words and invited the students to enhance their personality by being a part of such ceremonies. Author Dr Dharmapal Sahil, who was present as the chief speaker of the ceremony, said that this book is related to various concerns of knowledge, science, literature and society, which is beneficial for all sections of readers. He said that the book also expresses a beautiful prose style that conveys the message of creating a good society.
 On this occasion, Head of Punjabi Department, Dr JB Sekhon, shared information about the history of the children's magazine 'Nicky Karumbalan' published since 1995 under the editorship of Baljinder Mann. And said that since 1996 Ashraf Suhail 'Pankheru' magazine in Lahinde Punjab and Baljinder Mann in Charade Punjab are contributing greatly to the Punjabi child world with their magazine. On this occasion, Dr. Balveer Kaur, talking about the book dedicated to people, presented ideas about other children's literature, children's culture, educational, social, literary, cultural and sports responsibilities being performed by Baljinder Mann. Prof. Ajit Langeri, keeping this book on par with Dr. Jang Bahadur Goyal's Sahitya Sanjeevani, said that every reader must read these two books.
The chief guest Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa congratulated the organizers for such a ceremony and said that good institutions show the true path of students by organizing such ceremonies. The author of the book shared some important incidents of his student life (years 84 to 86 Khalsa College Mahilpur) with the students who turned his life around and led him to high achievements.
 Council Secretary Prof. Apinder Singh shared the words of thanks. He wished Mann all the best for the book and remembered the students who studied in the institute and made a name for themselves in the field of literature. Students of the college including Kumar were present in large numbers.
