Una, September 13 - Chintpurni MLA Sudarshan Bablu along with Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited Mela Ground Amb on Friday and reviewed the preparations for Mata Shri Chintpurni Mahotsav. This festival, being organized for the first time with the aim of taking religious and cultural tourism to a new height in Himachal Pradesh, will be celebrated from September 26 to 28.
On this occasion, MLA Sudarshan Bablu appreciated the efforts being made by the administration for the successful organization of the festival. He said that this festival will not only promote religious and cultural tourism of the district, but will also create new opportunities for local traders and businessmen. He said that with the efforts of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, the state government is ready to give a new direction to religious and cultural tourism, and this festival will prove to be a milestone in that direction.
At the same time, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal directed the officers to pay special attention to crowd management, security, health services and sanitation arrangements, so that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience during the festival and they can get a safe and better experience. The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is ready to realize the vision of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and is busy finalizing all the preparations for the festival.
The Deputy Commissioner also informed that cultural programmes and sports competitions will be held during the festival. Apart from this, various departments will organize development exhibitions to inform people about government schemes.
