Applications Sought for Admission to Medical Colleges Under Central Pool of MBBS Seats under Civilian Victims of Terrorism

SAS Nagar, September 11, 2024 - Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has sought applications through state Home Affairs Departments for nominations to the four MBBS seats of the Central Pool earmarked for spouses and children of Civilian Victims of Terrorism for the academic year 2024-25.

SAS Nagar, September 11, 2024 - Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has sought applications through state Home Affairs Departments for nominations to the four MBBS seats of the Central Pool earmarked for spouses and children of Civilian Victims of Terrorism for the academic year 2024-25.
       Divulging the details, the Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said that these seats are available at A N Magadh Medical College, Gaya, Bihar (One Seat), Grant Medical College, Mumbai, Maharashtra (One Seat) and Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Two Seats).
      A candidate desirous to apply must fulfil the eligibility criteria such as he/she either be the spouse or children of the deceased/ disabled civilian victim of terrorism, has completed 17 of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of admission and should be Indian National besides qualifying percentile in NEET (UG)-2024 (minimum marks at 50th percentile while 40th percentile for SC/ST/ OBC categories).
       For more information the desirous candidates can contact the nearby SDM office but their respective applications must be mooted through the Home Affairs Department of that state by 17.09.2024.
     Copies of mark sheet/certificate of 10th Class and 12th Class, Category Certificate, Admit Card of NEET (UG)-2024 Exam and result declared by NTA with regard to NEET (UT)-2024 Exam.

 Giving details, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that these seats are AN Magadh Medical College, Gaya, Bihar (one seat), Grant Medical College, Mumbai, Maharashtra (one seat) and Pandit JNM Medical College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh (two seats). 
 Candidates wishing to apply must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria such as being either the spouse or child of a deceased/physically disabled civilian victim of terrorism. Should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or should have completed that age before 31st December of the year of admission. Should be a citizen of India and have secured minimum marks at 50th percentile in NEET – (Undergraduate) 2024 with minimum marks at 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC categories.
 Interested candidates may contact the nearest SDM office for more information but their respective applications must be sent through the state home affairs department by 17.09.2024.
 Documents to be carried with the form include copies of 10th and 12th mark sheet/certificate, category certificate, admit card of NEET – (Undergraduate) 2024 examination and NEET – (Undergraduate) 2024 examination relation. Contains the result declared by NTA.
