Hoshiarpur- Under the leadership of Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar, modern infrastructure and educational material is being provided in government schools. To provide high quality education to the students, the MLA has released a grant of about Rs 3 crore 80 lakh for the schools in just a few months, due to which the schools are being transformed.
Dr. Ishank flagged off the promotion van for new admissions from Bahowal Government School and while addressing the school staff and villagers present there, said that due to the efforts of the Punjab Government, government schools are becoming the first choice of talented students. He said that our main objective is to modernize government schools, so that children from poor and ordinary families can also get good education.
Under these new development projects, projectors have been installed in the classrooms, through which children are getting education through the visual system. Under the new scheme of "School of Happiness" and "School of Eminence", a modern and enjoyable learning environment has been created for the students. Many other facilities are also being provided in these schools, such as modern furniture, IT labs, libraries and sports facilities.
Along with this, the government is renovating school buildings, providing new libraries and good educational equipment. Apart from this, these new facilities include smart classrooms, digital library for students, good seating arrangements, clean drinking water, modern science and mathematics labs, coaching centers under the Swarnim Bhavishya Yojana and spacious playgrounds.
Apart from this, keeping in mind the health care of the students, school health check-up camps, audio-visual rooms for entertainment and co-curricular activities to increase the interest of the students are also being included. The MLA further said that efforts will continue for the betterment of government schools and more high-level education facilities will be provided to the students.
Parents and students also appreciated this change taking place in government schools. He said that due to these modern facilities, the desire of children to study in government schools is increasing and this is a good initiative for their future.
