
International Sports Day was celebrated at Sikh National College Banga
Banga/Nawanshahr- To remember the tradition of sports in the country and to pay homage to the great players of Indian sports, the NSS Department and Sports Department of Sikh National College Banga celebrated International Sports Day under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji. First of all, floral tributes were paid to the hockey magician Major Dhyan Chand Ji on his birth anniversary.

Addressing the students on this occasion, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji informed them about the life of Major Dhyan Chand Ji and the importance of sports in student life and motivated them to participate in more and more sports.
He said that while sports provide health to the body, they also strengthen our mental morale. Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Sports Dean Prof. Munshi Sandhir, Dr. Jyoti Prakash, Program Officer Prof. Vipan, Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur, Prof. Manmant Singh, Prof. Tajinder Singh, Suresh Kumar, Manjit Singh were present on this occasion.
