Chandigarh Skill Development Mission, under the aegis of Directorate of Technical Education, organized the State Level, India Skills Competition 2023-2024 under the able guidance of Secretary Technical Education, Chandigarh Administration and Mission Director-cum-Director Technical Education, Chandigarh Administration. 
A felicitation ceremony was held today on August 20, 2024 in U.T. Chandigarh Secretariat and Sh. Rajeev Verma, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh graced the occasion and honored the medal winners. 
A total of 34 participants from Chandigarh were selected in the State Level, India Skills Competition and they showcased their expertise in 31 Skill trades in National Level, India Skills Competition 2023-24 held in May 2024, demonstrating exceptional enthusiasm and energy throughout the competition. Chandigarh participants earned 2 Silver Medals, 2 Bronze Medals, and 6 Medallions of Excellence. 
The ten prize winners viz Prashant Prakash, Shivom Nayyar, Stuti Modhil, Tarun Kotyan, Karamveer Singh Sethi, Deepak, Sahil Kumar, Rahul, Nautiyal, Vardhan Dhawan, Amitosh Sharda and the organizers, Sh. Rubinderjit S Brar, PCS, Mission Director, Dr Sunita Mehta, Ms Anju Verma Lakhani, Dr Ashwani Kumar and Ms Renu Gulati were also felicitated for their efforts and commendable achievement by the Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh Administration.
