Nawanshahr - Punjab Local Government Minister Dr Ravjot Singh has blamed the central government's laxity for non-payment of paddy from the markets. Today, the Cabinet Minister arrived at School of Eminence Nawanshahr to participate in the parent-teacher meeting program, the cabinet minister said while answering the question asked by the journalists regarding the lifting of paddy from the markets. That there is no deficiency on the part of the Punjab Government in this regard And today the entire ministry of the state including the Chief Minister is on the ground in Mandi.
He said that all this is happening only because of the laxity of the central government. He said that the central government deliberately wants to spoil the agriculture and peace of Punjab. He said that far from guaranteeing minimum support price to the farmers, now they are deliberately not picking the crop on time due to which the farmers have to bear the loss.
He said that the Punjab government wrote letters to the Center continuously, the Chief Minister himself went to meet them But despite this, they are not emptying the godowns of Punjab to do their folk politics. He appealed to the central government to resolve this issue of lifting as soon as possible.
