School teacher Manjit Kaur Dhiman prepared the children very well for this competition. Madam Geeta, Madam Jasmeet Kaur, Madam Manpreet Kaur, Madam Pooja Kaushal and Madam Zeenat gave full support in making this poetry competition especially beautiful. School Chairman Mr. Gurpreet Singh Sagar and MD Pooja Sagar made beautiful arrangements for this competition. This entire program was sponsored by UCO Bank Haibowal Clan Branch Ludhiana. The manager of this bank, Mr. Rachpal Singh, is always at the forefront to promote the Punjabi language and always supports Pinga Soch Diyan Sahitya Manch. The role of judges in this poetry competition was played by Pinga Soch Diyan Sahitya Manch founder and president Rashpinder Kaur Gill ji, lawyer Tripta Barmauta ji and Kuldeep Kaur Sachdeva ji. Five children were declared winners in this poetry competition. Nazia (IX) was the first winner, Kartik Sharma (X) was the second winner, Harleen Kaur (XII) was the third winner, Suman (XI) was the fourth winner and Khushboo (VII) was the fifth winner. This poetry competition was judged on the basis of correct pronunciation of Punjabi language, rhythm of the poem and the way of reciting the poem. The main aim of Peengan Soch Diyan Sahitya Manch to organize poetry competitions in schools is to connect children with Punjabi language and connect them with their Punjabi heritage. Peengan Soch Diyan Sahitya Manch is organizing poetry competitions in schools and colleges as well as Punjabi folk songs, Suhaag, Ghode and Shabd Gayan competitions. This initiative of the forum is getting response from many schools across Punjab. Through this forum initiative school teachers are organizing these competitions to make their children understand the importance of Punjabi language and Punjabi heritage. Dr. Hari Singh Jachak ji came to participate in this competition to encourage the school children. All the children participating in this competition chose very good social and family topics while selecting poems. All the children participating in the competition were given certificates by Pinga Soch Diyan Sahitya Manch. The Forum gave mementos to the first five winning children, teachers who prepared for the competition and the school management. The members who played the role of judges were honored with mementos and wall clocks. This was the second successful competition organized by Pinga Soch Diyan Sahitya Manch in Ludhiana. The founder and president of the Forum, Rashpinder Kaur Gill, said that the entire team has worked hard to make this poetry competition a success. She said that our Forum will always continue to do such successful work to promote Punjabi language and Punjabi heritage
