Safety training program on disaster management was organized at Government Senior Secondary School Khad

Una 11 December: The 14th Battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Nurpur District Kangra organized a one-day school safety training program on disaster management on Wednesday at Pandit Mohanlal Dutt Memorial Government Senior Secondary School Khadd. About 298 students and 30 academic and non-academic staff of the school actively participated in the training program.

About 298 students and 30 academic and non-academic staff of the school actively participated in the training program.
During this, Inspector Adesh Kumar, Sub Inspector Avtar Singh and Mohit Singh from NDRF, along with their entire team, conducted a mock drill and awareness introduction of various relief and rescue measures to save themselves and other people's lives from risk during various natural and man-made disasters.
Rajan Kumar Sharma, Training Incharge from Disaster Management Cell of Deputy Commissioner's Office Una, said that the children of the school saw, heard and practiced CPR, emergency measures to be taken at the time of fire and flood and first aid treatment etc. The NDRF team also presented a medical treatment kit to the disaster management in-charge and members of the disaster management committee of the school so that it can be used immediately during any kind of school related disaster.
The Principal of the school Narendra Puri thanked the NDRF team and the district administration team and called it very important for the children and hoped that the children would be able to save their lives and the lives of others during any disaster in the future.
On this occasion, the Principal of the school Narendra Puri, all the school teachers, non-teaching staff and all the members of the school disaster management committee were also actively present.
