
Honored to be included in Sheenam's creation book of Government Girls School
Mahilpur - Sheenam, a Plus Two student of Government Girls Secondary School, Mahilpur, was specially honoured on the occasion of publication of her composition in the book 'Naviyan Kalman Navi Udaan'. Shiromani Sahityakaar Baljinder Mann was present as a dignitary in this felicitation ceremony.
Mahilpur - Sheenam, a Plus Two student of Government Girls Secondary School, Mahilpur, was specially honoured on the occasion of publication of her composition in the book 'Naviyan Kalman Navi Udaan'. Shiromani Sahityakaar Baljinder Mann was present as a dignitary in this felicitation ceremony. On this occasion, he said that under the leadership of Principal Satinderdeep Kaur Dhillon, the students of Government Girls Secondary School are making great progress in the field of literature, art, culture, sports and education. The entire staff of the school is always ready to take the daughters towards higher goals.
He further said that under the world class campaign 'Naviyan Kalman Navi Udaan' by Sukhi Baath, founder of Punjab Bhawan Surrey Canada, inclusion of student Sheenam's composition in the book is a big achievement of the school. For which he specially congratulated the class in-charge lecturer Gurpal Singh Sahota. Pradeep Singh Mauji, editor of 'Naviyan Kalman Navi Udaan' and state award winner Nitin Suman said that the composition of another student of this school, Upasana, has been included in the next book. Thus, the students of this school have also started gaining fame in the literary world. Punjab Bhawan Canada honoured Sheenam with a medal, certificate and book.
On this occasion, Sheenam praised her school teachers and the school principal. She said that she has learned a lot by participating in the literary creation campaign run by small groups. For which she is especially indebted to the Karumbalan family. Principal Satinder Deep Kaur Dhillon thanked everyone and said that her effort is to protect the girls from the trap of the Internet and connect them with Norwegian literature so that they can become ideal citizens of the country. On this occasion, members of the school management committee, staff, students and parents including Madam Neeraj Bala, Mandeep Singh, Amarjit, Sandeep Kaur and Amandeep Singh Bains participated.
