Una, July 10 - Under the Mission Shakti scheme being run under the Women and Child Development Department, 100 days special awareness camps are being organized. In this series, an awareness camp was organized today on Wednesday at Haroli block level regarding the weekly topic Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. About 40 women participated in the camp.
During the camp, Child Development Project Officer Poonam Chauhan gave detailed information about the registration process of eligible beneficiary in the scheme and appealed to the Anganwadi workers that no eligible beneficiary should be deprived of the scheme. She informed that Mission Shakti has been divided into two parts which include Samarthaya and Sambal schemes. She informed that Samarthaya includes Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Palna, Shakti Sadan, Working Women Hostel for empowering women. Apart from this, One Stop Centre, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Nari Adalat, Women Helpline are included in Sambal.
District Coordinator (DHEW) Isha along with other officials were present in the camp.
