The voice was raised through this protest to immediately stop the process of filing a sedition case against the world-renowned populist writer Arudhanti Roy and the supporter of Kashmir's national independence movement, Prof. Sheikh Shaukat Hussain. Repeal of the UAPA was chanted. Addressing the protest, the leaders said that the undeclared emergency was imposed in the country to establish a Hindu state in the country, to dissolve the federal structure, to strangle every opposing voice. Modi's fascist government is going to turn the country into an open prison by implementing this dictatorial law to protect the interests of corporates.
 The new law of these new laws is facing great dangers for the people in the future. Against which a large people's movement will have to be built like the Kisan movement. The leaders said that the struggle will continue until this black law is repealed. Therefore, the next strategy will be drawn up in the state-level Jalandhar convention on July 21.
