Speaking as the chief guest during the function organized by Sri Guru Harkrishna Hospital, Sohana to celebrate the National Cancer Survivor Month, he said that in a cancer-affected state like Punjab, the need for awareness among the people is even greater. Meanwhile, the hospital honored the patients who recovered from cancer And recalling the faith and courage of cancer survivors in their fight against this serious disease, their boundless courage was informed. During this ceremony organized at Sohana Cancer Research Institute, a skit prepared by the nursing staff was presented for the cancer survivors and a ramp walk was also done by the cancer survivors showing their confidence. The Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Mr. Anil Suri, said that along with this, the hospital conducted various activities highlighting the importance of early prevention and detection of cancer during the month of June.
During this event, cancer experts Dr. Sandeep Kukkar, Dr. Sonia Dhaka, Dr. Shyam Sunder Trehan, Dr. Rakesh Gupta and Dr. Rupali Aggarwal shared important information about the symptoms, tests and treatment of cancer.
