Sri Ganesh Mahautsav will be celebrated with pomp from September 17 to 20. Preparations are complete for the event to be held in Phase 9.

The patron of the committee Mr. Ramesh Dutt (under whose leadership Shri Ganesh Utsav is organized every year) said that on the first day of Shri Ganesh Utsav, a recitation of Shri Sukhmani Sahib will be conducted.

He said that the main purpose of conducting Shri Ganesh Mahotsav is to pray to Lord Shri Ganesh ji for the good and progress of all and to maintain mutual brotherhood in the society. He said that this program is completely non-political and people of all religions and devotees participate in it with full devotion.

Sri Ganesh Mahotsav Committee 2023 Chairman Rajesh Bajaj, Vice Chairman Manoj Verma, President Ramesh Verma, Vice President Manish Shankar, General Secretary Rakesh, Stage Secretary Shiv Kumar Duggal, Treasurer Praveen and Ramesh Sharma Nikku, besides Murthy Visarjan, in-charge Girish said. That every evening from 5 pm to 10 pm there will be a program of Shri Ganesh Mahama during which many famous artists will be present.

He said that Lord Ganapati will arrive at 5 pm on September 17, after which a hymn will be sung by Mr. Vijay Ratan. After this, the program will be presented by Sultana Noora (Noora Sisters).

On September 18, Mrs. Shusma Sharma will inaugurate after which first Yasir Hussain and then Poonam Didi will sing the hymn at 10 pm. On September 19, Mr. Ajay Rana will begin, after which Bhajan Samrat Kanhaiya Mittal will entertain the devotees. On the same day, Mr. Mukesh Inaaat will also sing the praises.

Bhajans will be recited by Mr. Maninder Chanchal in the morning on September 20. Rath Yatra will be taken out in the afternoon and the event will conclude after Sri Ganesh immersion.

Mr. Ramesh Dutt said that sewing machines will also be given to widows and needy women during Shri Ganesh Mahotsav, which is celebrated for the welfare of the common people.
