Hisar: – Thana Sadar Police conducted a search operation at many places including the residences of the suspects in Thana Sadar area villages Sisai Kaliraman and Bolan from 5 to 8 pm yesterday to arrest the drug smugglers. ASI Rajesh posted in Thana Sadar Hansi conducted a search operation in Sisai Kaliraman and Bolan villages of Thana Sadar Hansi area along with the dog squad team.
During this, the residences of the suspects were investigated along with other places to check if any drug was hidden anywhere or if any drug seller was living there. No drug was recovered during the campaign.
Hansi Superintendent of Police Amit Yashvardhan said that the main objective of this campaign is to strengthen the security system and create fear among the criminals. He said that the main objective of this campaign is to ensure action against those involved in drug trafficking and criminal activities. The police investigated every suspicious place. During this time, no case of drugs or suspicious objects came to light.
Apart from the search operation, the police told the general public present there to inform about any kind of drug seller or any other criminal on Manas Portal, National Helpline Number 1933 or Control Room Hansi 88130-89302. The name of the informer will be kept secret.
He said that the search campaign being run against drug smugglers and people involved in other criminal activities will continue in the future as well. Hansi Police is giving the message of staying away from drugs to the youth through sports activities to keep them away from drugs.
