On this occasion, District Program Officer Narinder Kumar said that Mission Shakti is working with the objective of women safety, women equality and women self-employment. He said that women are a reflection of policy, integrity, decision-making power and leadership.

On this occasion, District Program Officer Narinder Kumar said that Mission Shakti is working with the objective of women safety, women equality and women self-employment. He said that women are a reflection of policy, integrity, decision-making power and leadership.
The main theme of this camp in the premises of Government Primary School located in Khad of Harouli Tehsil was focused on various components of Mission Shakti, while special discussions were also held on topics like prevention of child marriage, drug-free campaign and nutrition campaign. During the camp, District Program Officer Mr. Narinder Kumar informed the people present about various schemes run by the Women and Child Development Department.
Under Mission Shakti, information was also given about the government free helpline numbers available for women and girls, which mainly include Women Power Line (1090), Mahila Helpline (181), Chief Minister Helpline (1100), Police Helpline (112), Ambulance Service (108), Child Helpline (1098), and Health Service (102). Apart from this, Narinder Kumar also gave information about Sakhi One Stop Center, Una.
Sakhi One Stop Center aims to provide assistance under one roof to women and girls suffering from all types of violence, which mainly includes temporary shelter, police assistance, legal aid, medical assistance and counseling. The people present were also administered an oath on prevention of child marriage.
CDPO Harauli, Shri Shiv Singh Verma provided information about the Child Marriage Prevention Campaign run by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. On this occasion, Shiv Verma gave detailed information related to prevention of child marriage. Apart from this, retired Child Development Project Officer Una, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dayal made people aware about the drug-free campaign.
District Mission Coordinator (DHEW) Mrs. Isha Chaudhary told about the women-centric Sambal and Samarthya schemes run by the Central and State Government. Apart from this, District Coordinator (Poshan Abhiyan) Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Khan shared information about various efforts being made under the Poshan Abhiyan.

This camp was organized with the aim of increasing social awareness and benefiting the community from various government schemes.
