Mandi Gobindgarh, June 8 – Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages ??in Desh Bhagat University organized a commemorative event for BA Semester 6 students. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh was the chief guest of the event while Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur attended as special guest. The event started with the welcome of the chief guest, special guests and other dignitaries by the Director of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Dr. Devinder Kumar. Chief Guest Dr. Zora Singh while extending his greetings and blessings encouraged the graduating students to face future challenges with resilience. He said that Desh Bhagat University has equipped them with the skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen paths. Dr Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor of DBU, while sharing her message with the students, felt proud of their achievements and wished and encouraged them for their future journey. Professor of Sociology Dr. Dharminder Singh presented a vote of thanks in the event. He thanked all the attendees for making the farewell function memorable. He especially thanked the faculty members, staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event the best it could be.
