SAS Nagar, June 6 - Leo Club Mohali Smiling in collaboration with Lions Club Mohali SAS Nagar organized a 10-day summer camp for children studying from working class families at Sri Guru Amardas Public School, Industrial Area, Phase-7, Mohali. The closing ceremony was held. On this occasion, Mr. Kuljit Singh Bedi, Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation and charter member of Lions Club specially participated.
President of Lions Club Mohali Mr. Amardeep Singh Gulati said that during this camp the children were taught various subjects like art and craft, dance, music, painting and English speaking by the members of Leo Club. Various presentations were also given by the children during the closing ceremony.
The Lions Club gave certificates to all the children who participated in this camp and stationery was also distributed. During the organization of the camp, Leo Club's Vice President Leo Jafir Ali, Secretary Leo Gurpreet Singh, Treasurer Leo Ayush Bhasin and PRO Leo Hardeep Singh performed various responsibilities. Meanwhile, the principal of the school Madam Bhupinder Kaur and the staff also gave full support.
Club Secretary Amit Narula, Leo Club Advisor Jaswinder Singh, Treasurer Rajinder Chauhan, NS Dalam, Rakesh Garg, JP Singh Prince and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
