Una, May 30- The static surveillance team in Una district recovered 24 bottles of liquor during a search operation of vehicles on Mubarikpur-Daulatpur road on Wednesday. These bottles were being transported in an unauthorized manner. The bottles have been seized and handed over to the Excise and Taxation Department. ASP Una Sanjeev Bhatia said that 12 liquor bottles each (750 ml per bottle) have been seized from two different vehicles during the search operation at the check posts set up on Mubarikpur-Daulatpur road. He said that the drivers have been identified as a resident of Ramnagar Nakadoh and one of Jeetpur Behari against whom legal action is being taken. He said that in view of the elections, the surveillance teams are checking the vehicles thoroughly. Every activity is being closely monitored.
