Hoshiarpur- Lions Club Hoshiarpur Pearl was inaugurated in a traditional manner today at a local hotel under the leadership of Lion Harjit Singh Bhatia. On this occasion, a new team was also elected for the year 2025-26. Lion Sanjeev Arora proposed the name of Lion Vijay Arora for the post of President, which was agreed to by Lion Harjit Singh Bhatia and other members. 
With the consent of all, Vijay Arora was appointed as the President and was also given the authority to make him fully executive. Lion Vijay Arora, while announcing his team, appointed Lion Umesh Rana as Secretary, Kumar Gaurav as Finance Secretary and Lion Sanjeev Arora as PRO.
On this occasion, President Vijay Arora informed about the projects to be implemented in the future and said that in the coming days, the Lions Club will carry out service works like plantation for environmental protection, going to schools and colleges to de-addiction, saving water, awareness campaigns against dowry system, organizing medical camps and helping the needy including distributing stationery to children. 
While holding the stage, Lion Sanjeev Arora said that Vijay Arora's experience will further strengthen the club and the service works will be accelerated. He said that Vijay Arora is a person who is associated with various organizations, dedicated to human service and works with a selfless spirit. 
On this occasion, Gaurav Khattar, Vijay Gupta, Rajesh Nanda, Harish Chug, Dr. Rajinder Gupta, Madan Lal Mahajan, Deepak Narula, Pankaj Kumar, H. K. Nakra and other members were present.
