
Employees, workers and public organizations of Garhshankar will join the strike on July 9
Garhshankar- Regarding the nationwide strike on July 9, an important meeting of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation, Pensioner Association, JPMO Block Garhshankar was held in the evening at Comrade Darshan Singh Canadian Bhawan Garhshankar under the chairmanship of Sundar Kapoor, Kulbhushan Kumar, Balwant Ram and Lecturer Sarup Chand. State President of the Federation Satish Rana ji specially attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, state leader Satish Rana and JPMO leader Ramji Das Chauhan said that due to the anti-people policies of the Modi government at the Center, inflation, unemployment and poverty are increasing day by day in the whole country. The life of the common man is becoming difficult day by day.
An atmosphere of hatred is being created in the country by religious fanaticism, discriminatory policies against minorities and Dalits, saffronization of education policy and constitutional institutions, silencing those who speak the truth, tampering with the Constitution, which the peace-loving people of the country will not tolerate at any cost.
Employee leaders Amrik Singh, Vinod Kumar, Jaswinder Kaur, Pawan Kumar, Naresh Bagga said that like the Modi government at the Centre, the Punjab government is also exploiting the employees, pensioners, labourers, farmers and hardworking people economically.
Restoration of old pension, regularisation of casual workers, arrears of DA-pay commission, restoration of 37 cut allowances and other legitimate demands are not being resolved. The leaders said that governments taking anti-people decisions cannot survive for long in front of the struggle of the people. The leaders reprimanded the central and state governments and said that the demands of employees, labourers, farmers, pensioners and common people should be accepted immediately.
The leaders said that the nationwide strike will be made successful by increasing participation. Jagdish Pakhowal, Gurnam Hajipur, Joginder Singh, Gopal Das Manhotra, Jaswinder Kaur, Shingara Ram Bhajjal, Bhalbhadra Singh, Surjeet Hajipur, Ravan Singh, Kulwinder Sahni were present on this occasion.
