Garhshankar - A special meeting of journalists of Garhshankar Dateline Lion was held in Garhshankar in which the problems faced by journalists were discussed. After this, Press Club Garhshankar was unanimously elected for the next two years.
In which Dr. JB Sekhon was elected as Patron, Ajaj Singh Boparai as Club President, Lokesh Walia as Vice President, Rajinder Singh as General Secretary, Phula Ram as Treasurer, Jasveer Singh Jhali as Press Secretary, Manjinder Kumar Pansara as Assistant Secretary. Similarly, Lakhwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Rampal Bhardwaj, Gurpreet Pal Sunni and Balveer Chopra were elected members.
