Patiala, November 9 - District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairperson District Legal Services Authority Rupinderjit Chahal and Additional District and Sessions Judge H.S. Under the supervision of Grewal, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala organized an exhibition-cum-sale at District Court Complex, Patiala in association with Samgar Shiksha Abhiyan, District Special Resource Centre, Government Primary School Snoori Gate, Patiala and Central Jail, Patiala.
     In this exhibition, judges, lawyers, court staff and common people bought various items like handmade pens, envelopes, cards, candles, lamps, eco-friendly bags etc.
      On this occasion, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Mani Arora said that in this event, all the decorative items prepared by the special children of women jail inmates Central Jail, Patiala and Government Primary School Snoori Gate, Patiala, Pens, envelopes cards, candles, lamps, eco-friendly bags etc. were displayed, which were appreciated by the people. All these items were made by the inmates of the jail in the training program organized during the special campaign of Vocational Literacy for the jail inmates.
     He further informed that on the occasion of Legal Services Day celebration on November 9, 2023, Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Maghar Sahib, Patiala has awarded the Best Legal Aid Clinic in the State of Punjab along with District Legal Services Authority, Patiala in Educational Institution (School Level) Won the award.
