Journalist Ranjit Singh Ludhianvi honored

Kolkata, May 16- Senior Punjabi and Hindi journalist and writer Ranjit Singh Ludhianvi was honored by the Bengal Media Club for his two contributions to journalism. Here at Krishnapad Ghosh Memorial Trust Bhavan in Sealdah, Tirthankar Mukherjee, a lawyer of Supreme Court, Calcutta High Court, editor of Asia News and president of Bengal Media Club honored him by presenting a momento and medal.

Kolkata, May 16- Senior Punjabi and Hindi journalist and writer Ranjit Singh Ludhianvi was honored by the Bengal Media Club for his two contributions to journalism. Here at Krishnapad Ghosh Memorial Trust Bhavan in Sealdah, Tirthankar Mukherjee, a lawyer of Supreme Court, Calcutta High Court, editor of Asia News and president of Bengal Media Club honored him by presenting a momento and medal. On this occasion, Kavi Darbar was also organized along with distribution of membership cards to the members of the club. Along with this, the club also provided free accident insurance of two lakh rupees to the members.
On this occasion, Mukherjee said that the aim of the club is to treat all journalists equally. Whether it is recognized or unrecognized, we do not see it, the club will help everyone in every matter from the legal side. It will not be seen whether he is a big daily journalist, TV journalist or social media, only one condition is that he works for the country and society. If the media does not do anything like this then the media is infamous. Such persons will not be imposed.
On this occasion, Kaushar Ali, Asish Basak, Arun Chakraborty, model and film-TV artist Paromita Banerjee, Gauri Shankar Das, Kausthav Majumdar, Divendu Ghosh, Rahul Amin, Tamal Nath were present.
