SAS Nagar, May 14 - A family of village Tanda has been accused of selling their land fraudulently. The victim's family says that despite complaining to the police, no action is being taken, due to which they are suffering.
Talking to reporters here, the complainant Baljit Singh and his wife said that their father Gyan Singh had four and a half kanals of land at Tanda. But this land was later sold by his maternal uncle's sons Sukhwinder Singh and Gurbachan Singh to Anju Chauhan and Vinod Chauhan and the land was registered wrongly.
He said that those persons had come to take possession of the land on February 2 but had to return due to opposition. Later they brought two bouncers and beat them up. He said that a complaint was also given to the police in this regard, but instead of taking any action, the police instead registered a case against him and later he had to get bail.
They have given a complaint to SSP and DSP regarding this. But so far no action has been taken on the complaint. The complainant said that his uncle's son had also sold the land adjacent to his land wrongfully and now they are trying to take possession of the land along with the buyer. They said that at present they are in possession of the land, but if they try to plow or cultivate the land, they are attacked.
They have demanded that action should be taken against those who sold their land fraudulently and justice should be given to them.
