Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing organized menstrual hygiene awareness program

Mandi Gobindgarh, May 9 - Students of Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing (DBIN) conducted an awareness program on "Menstrual Hygiene" under the "Mahwari hygiene Yojana" launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Such programs were designed to increase awareness among adolescent girls about the central government's menstrual hygiene scheme.

Mandi Gobindgarh, May 9 - Students of Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing (DBIN) conducted an awareness program on "Menstrual Hygiene" under the "Mahwari hygiene Yojana" launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Such programs were designed to increase awareness among adolescent girls about the central government's menstrual hygiene scheme.
This initiative sensitized the girl students of 7th to 12th standard in Desh Bhagat Global School, Mandi Gobindgarh. The program under the guidance and support of Director Prof Lovesampuranjot Kaur was a demonstration of the institute's firm commitment to promote health education and awareness in the society. Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing and Head of Community Health Nursing Department Prof. Prabhjot Singh specially participated in it.
Enthusiastic participation of students in this awareness program gave them an opportunity to clear their doubts about myths and misconceptions related to menstruation.
