
Prohibition order issued on dumping dead animals at unauthorized places
Patiala, May 8 – Additional District Magistrate Madam Kanchan, using the powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, within the limits of District Patiala, except the place designated by the Municipal Corporation/Municipal Council/Nagar Panchayats/Panchayats for Hada Rodi. Orders have been issued to completely ban the dumping of dead cattle/animals at official places and orders have also been issued that the dead cattle should be dumped only at the designated place (Hada Rodi) by the government.
Patiala, May 8 – Additional District Magistrate Madam Kanchan, using the powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, within the limits of District Patiala, except the place designated by the Municipal Corporation/Municipal Council/Nagar Panchayats/Panchayats for Hada Rodi. Orders have been issued to completely ban the dumping of dead cattle/animals at official places and orders have also been issued that the dead cattle should be dumped only at the designated place (Hada Rodi) by the government. These orders will remain in force till July 8, 2024.
It has been said in the order that it has been observed that after the death of their pets/animals, many people not throw the dead animals/animals at the place designated by the government (Hada Rodi) but in an unauthorized (public/ are dumped near residential) places. By doing this, the smell and dirt spread around the place and there is also fear of disease spread. Therefore, strict and necessary steps need to be taken in view of the loss of life and financial inconvenience to the general public. Legal action will be taken against the person who violates the said order.
