International Seminar Successfully Organized at Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian

Hoshiarpur- Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian in collaboration with NGO A4C Dasuha successfully organized a grand international seminar on the topic “Women Achievers – Inspiring the Next Generation”. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guests, which symbolized the light of knowledge and inspiration. After this, all the guests were honored by the college management committee with shawls and bouquets.

Sushri Oishi (IAS, Assistant Commissioner, Hoshiarpur) and Mr. Ankur Mahindru (PCS, SDM, Mukerian) were present as the chief guests. In their inspiring addresses, they said that the role of women is important in the progress of the society and the new generation needs to learn from their achievements.
Special Guest Mr. Naveen Agarwal (Social Worker and Industrialist, MD, Jagdambe Furnaces Limited) emphasized the need for women empowerment and said that only educated women can lay the foundation of a strong and progressive society.
As subject experts, Dr. Vidhi Bhalla (Principal, DAV College of Education, Hoshiarpur) and Ms. Ishita Rishi (Oxford University, UK) shared their scholarly views with the students. They motivated the students to not only shape their own future with their ability and potential, but also contribute to the development of the society.
College Principal and Convener of the seminar, Dr. Karamjit Kaur Brar, in her welcoming remarks, said that such academic platforms bring out the hidden potential of the students and prepare them for future leadership.
NGO A4C Dasuha President and Seminar Organizing Secretary Mr. Sanjeev Kumar thanked all the guests, scholars and college management and said that this seminar is not just an academic program, but a source of inspiration for the young generation.
On this occasion, the entire committee including the Chairman of Guru Gobind Singh Educational Charitable Trust S. Ravinder Singh Chak, Members S. Satpal Singh, S. Bikram Singh Chak were present.
The students and teachers of the college participated in large numbers. The active participation of the NSS unit of the college made this event even more effective and showed the social and academic commitment of the youth.
