Chandigarh, September 22 – The poster of Sarathi Cine Productions’ first Punjabi crime thriller film Kaal Kothri was launched here at Kala Bhawan, Chandigarh during the Punjabi Short Film Festival. The program was attended by Punjab State Food Commission Chairman Mr. Bal Mukand Sharma as the chief guest.
He expressed the hope that such films will determine the future of Punjabi cinema and help in filling the gap of action and thriller in cinema.
During this, big personalities of Pollywood specially attended while the star cast of the film was also present on the occasion. The lead actors of the film, Naginder Gakhar, Gurinder Makhna, Arsh Hundal and Devi Singh, were present at the poster launch. Producer Angad Sachdeva said that Kaal Kothri is a very unique experience for him, where a unique role of prisoners in the film will surprise everyone.
On the other hand, the flashback part will be emotional. Director Devi Sharma said that the story is woven with suspense, drama and realism, and this film will further raise the standard of crime thriller in Punjabi cinema.
