*Garbage and incomplete repairs on the main road.
Locals report that heaps of garbage are piled up along the main road leading to Manimajra Old City and Motor Market. Road repairs remain incomplete, causing significant inconvenience to devotees.
*Santoshi Mata Temple Manager Expresses Dissatisfaction.
Mahant Rameshwar Giri, manager of the Santoshi Mata Temple, stated that thousands of people use this route to reach Mata Mansa Devi and her temple. Despite this, large piles of garbage lie on administrative land just a short distance from the temple. This area is near an empty field adjacent to the motor market and a traffic signal point.
*Heaps of garbage also near the mosque.
Mahant Rameshwar Giri further explained that heaps of garbage also exist near the Jama Masjid in Manimajra on the same route, which is a blot on Chandigarh's image. He said that at least during Navratri, the administration should have cleaned these areas and completed the road repairs.
*Wrong message being sent to devotees.
Locals say that this is having a negative impact on devotees coming from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and other states. The cleanliness campaign, which the Chandigarh administration boasts about, is proving to be a failure during Navratri.
