Mohali, September 21: A grand and inspiring event was organized today at the Brahma Kumaris' Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Phase 7, Mohali, as part of the Drug-Free India Campaign. On this occasion, over 300 people took the pledge to make India drug-free and pledged to join this sacred campaign.

The program began with a profound experience of Raja Yoga meditation. Following this, local youth presented an impressive skit, depicting how drug addiction can plunge a bright life into darkness, and how spiritual awakening and Raja Yoga can help a person regain the right direction in life. The audience praised the presentation.
Presiding over the event, Brahma Kumari Premlata Bhanji, Director of the Raja Yoga Centers in the Mohali-Ropar region, said in her inspiring address that in today's materialistic world, youth are falling prey to temptations and falling into the trap of drug addiction. This situation cannot be improved by external measures alone. It requires connecting society with spiritual knowledge and the power of Raja Yoga meditation. This power alone can provide young people with self-respect, self-control, and a new direction in life." On this occasion, Dr. Lisa elaborated on the causes of drug addiction among youth, its symptoms, and scientific and medical methods for overcoming addiction. She explained that if the warning signs are recognized early, any young person can be saved from the clutches of addiction.
Brahma Kumari Meena Bhabhi highlighted the importance of Rajyoga and led the gathering in its practice. She explained that through consistent practice, mental instability, stress, and addictions can be overcome.
At the event, Mr. Rakesh Goyal, Director of Shri Shyam Petro Limited, shared his life experiences and explained how Rajyoga helped him stay away from drugs and live a balanced life. Mr. Praveen Arora, through his emotional poem, conveyed to the youth the message of respect and love for their parents.
A special highlight of the program was B.K. Satvik Bhai taking a unanimous pledge to create a "drug-free India." This moment was deeply inspiring and filled the hall with positive energy.
