Mohali, September 12:- Shri Ramlila and Dussehra Committee, Mohali Phase-1 took out a procession today. On this occasion, attractive tableaux of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Hanuman Ji were taken out, in which a large crowd of devotees gathered.
This procession started from Mohali Phase-1 and passed through various routes of the city including Phase-6 and Sector-56 and ended at the ancient Shiva temple located in Phase-1. The purpose of the procession was to invite the citizens for the upcoming Ramlila staging and to bring the blessings of God to every home.
The President and Director of the committee, Shri Ashu Sood, said that like every year, this time too, Ramlila will start from September 21 at Ramlila Maidan, near Barrier, Phase-1. He said that all the artists have been practicing vigorously for more than a month. The committee is confident that thousands of devotees will enjoy the Ramlila performance this time too.
Shri Sood further said that all the preparations for the performance have been completed. Strict security arrangements have been made, in which the confluence of history and culture will be shown with the help of CCTV cameras, proper seating arrangements and modern technology. Any devotee who wants to connect with this Ramlila or serve can join it.
Other officers and members of the committee were also present during the Sobha Yatra. Devotees welcomed the tableaux by showering flowers at various places. The atmosphere of the entire city resonated with the slogan "Jai Shri Ram".
