
Training camp concluded under National Natural Farming Mission at KVK Rampur.
Una, August 30- The 5-day training camp organized under the National Natural Farming Mission's ATMA project at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) concluded successfully today (Saturday). On this occasion, Scheduled Caste Commission member and advocate Vijay Dogra attended as the chief guest.

46 Community Resource Persons (CRPs) from Amb and Gagret development blocks participated in this training camp. The aim of this training was to make the participants aware of the techniques, benefits and practical aspects of natural farming so that they can motivate the farmers in their areas for chemical-free farming.
Vijay Dogra said that natural farming not only increases the income of farmers but it is also helpful in increasing healthy food and soil fertility. He appealed to all the participants to go to their respective clusters and share this knowledge with the farmers and motivate them to adopt natural farming. Mr. Dogra said that the present government is the first government to fix minimum support price under natural farming.
Emphasizing on cow-cultivation, he said that organic components like Jeevamrit and Ghan Jeevamrit can be prepared at home using cow dung and cow urine obtained from cows, which is very beneficial in natural farming. Along with this, he also gave information about various welfare schemes being run by the state government for the Scheduled Castes.
Director of ATMA Project Una Virendra Bagga informed that the state government is organizing training camps to promote natural farming so that the income of farmers can increase and they can move towards chemical-free farming.
During this, the participants shared their experiences and views. He told that this training has given them a deep understanding of natural farming and now they will be able to guide the farmers in their areas in a more effective manner. Along with this, certificates were also distributed to all the trainees.
On this occasion, ATMA Project Director Virendra Bagga, Deputy Director Horticulture Department KK Bhardwaj, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Dr. Meenakshi Saini and others were present.
