SAS Nagar, August 18 - Gurmanjit Singh Gill was specially honored by the Mohali unit of the General Category Welfare Federation Punjab on his retirement and special honors.
The District President of the Federation, Jasvir Singh Garhg, said that Gurmanjit Singh has retired as a Math Master from Government High School, Mauli Baidwan. He had a special status in the education department because along with his teaching profession, he was also associated with social service and he actively participated in other activities with the school.
.He said that Gurmanjit Singh joined the General Category Welfare Federation in 2002 and since then he has been working diligently as the Block President of the Federation. Considering his contribution to his profession and the work of the Federation, the Federation specially honored him. He said that the tears in the eyes of his students at the time of retirement testify to the immense love he had for his children.
On this occasion, besides others, Jasvir Singh Gosal, Davinder Singh, Suresh Pal, Jagdish Singla, Dilbagh Singh, Principal Kuldeep Singh, Sukhwinder Singh Gill, Pritpal Singh, Amarjit Singh, MH Sharma, Harminder Singh Sohi, Amarjit Singh Sekhon, Sadhu Singh, Master Gurmukh Singh, Surinder Pal Singh Khatra, Bant Singh Bhullar, Sardul Singh, Rajinder Singh, Ajay Singh, Jagvir Singh and Gurmanjit Singh's son Manvir Singh were present.
On this occasion, Gurmanjit Singh took a pledge to always work for the federation and eleven thousand rupees were given as cash for the fund for the federation. The district president of the federation, Jasvir Singh Garhg, thanked Gurmanjit Singh.
