
Tarksheel Society Punjab organized plays in different villages in memory of Gursharan Singh.
Garhshankar- Remembering the famous playwright Bhaji Gursharan Singh, the father of plays, and dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji, Tarksheel Society Punjab, in collaboration with Chandigarh School of Drama, started street plays in villages from different villages and schools of Garhshankar, a unit of Tarksheel Society Punjab.

In the series of these plays, the play 'Thuggi', warning against fraudulent agents, and the play 'Sulghadi Dharti' against drugs were successfully staged under the direction of Yarkhan Singh in Government Senior Secondary School Boda, Roramjara, Babbar village Ramgarh Jhungian and village Chak Haji Pur.
The acting of artists Yarkhan Singh, Gurpyar Singh and Prabhjot Kaur in the plays shook the minds of the people and left a deep impression, forcing them to think. The people of the villages received a great response. In Government School Boda, in-charge Manjit Singh, Ma Naresh, Parminder Pakhowal and Sarpanch Ram Prakash of Roramjara School were specially honored.
The head of the Punjab Cultural Department of the Rational Society, State Committee Member Joginder Kullewal, called on the people to adopt scientific thinking and revolutionary culture out of superstitions. He called on the revolutionary message of playwright Bhaji Gursharan Singh to continue reaching the people's courtyards and to follow the footsteps of the martyrs by upholding the thoughts of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and becoming the bearers of rational thinking.
Kullewal said that this drama series will continue throughout Punjab. On this occasion, artist student of Bal Kala Manch Kullewal Namneet Ibrahim Puri presented revolutionary poems like ‘Mashaalan Balke Chalna’ and ‘Sach Sangram Ne Kadi Harna Nahin’. Kamaljit Kullewal set up a stall of rational literature. Dr. Ram Lal Sarpanch Chak Haji Pur, teacher leaders, Mukesh Gujarati, Kulwinder Chahal, Mohan Lal, Ma Bansi Lal etc. thanked the leaders in the villages. On this occasion, Zone Head Ma Jagdish Rai Pur Dabba, lecturer Raj Kumar, Gurnam Haji Pur, Sukhwinder Langeri etc. leaders were present.
