Garhshankar, August 19: An annual wrestling fair (Chhinj Mela) was organized at Village Gari Matto, featuring high-caliber wrestling matches among top wrestlers. In the patka wrestling match held between Bhola Atari and Mohit Raiya, Mohit Raiya emerged as the winner. The victorious wrestler was honored by the committee with a Splendor motorcycle, while the runner-up received ?21,000 and a gold ring.
On this occasion, Comrade Darshan Singh Mattu and committee members Subedar Dharam Chand, Piyara Singh, Balwinder Singh, Telu Ram Madar, Parsotam Singh (Lambardar Referee), Dr. Paramjeet, Rinku Madar, Dr. Jagmohan Singh, and other panchayat members were present.
