
The state-wide memorandum campaign of Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh Haryana regarding the pending demands of journalists has intensified - Dr. Indu Bansal.
Chandigarh/Gohana, 12 September 2025:- Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh Haryana, an organization agitating for a long time in the protection of the interests of working journalists in Haryana, today intensified the Gyannishtha Memorandum Submito Abhiyan regarding the pending demands of journalists and submitted a memorandum to the government through the administration in Gohana.
Chandigarh/Gohana, 12 September 2025:- Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh Haryana, an organization agitating for a long time in the protection of the interests of working journalists in Haryana, today intensified the Gyannishtha Memorandum Submito Abhiyan regarding the pending demands of journalists and submitted a memorandum to the government through the administration in Gohana.
The founder and state president of the Sangh, Dr. Indu Bansal, said that this campaign has been launched due to the continuous neglect of the pending demands of journalists by the government, the purpose of which is to ensure the safety, welfare and social security of journalists.
Dr. Bansal said that under this campaign, the district units of Palwal, Pataudi, Rewari, Nuh and Gurugram of the Sangh have recently given memorandum to the senior district officials in their districts in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Haryana Nayab Singh Saini, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, State Minister Anil Vij and Ms. Aarti Rao.
Dr Bansal said that in this series of memorandum campaign, a memorandum was given to SDM Anjali Shrotiya today under the leadership of Gohana unit president of the union Anil Jindal.
Today in this memorandum campaign, along with district president Anil Jindal, members and senior officials of Gohana unit of the union, journalists Sunil Jindal, Bhanwar Singh, Jagveer Jain, Naresh Sharma, Vivek Ahlawat, Sandeep, Ravindra, Preeti Singhal, Maneka Deshwal, Sarika Narwal, Madan Mohan, Ajay Swami and Rupesh were present on the occasion.
Dr Bansal said that the main demands of the memorandum campaign include implementation of journalist protection law in Haryana, increasing journalist pension from 15 thousand to 25 thousand rupees, cashless health insurance scheme of Rs 10 lakh on the lines of Punjab, free education scheme on Rajasthan model, journalist housing scheme at concessional rates and recognition to digital media.
Dr Bansal said that Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh is demanding to restart railway concession services and waive toll tax not only for journalists of Haryana but also for journalists across the country. He said that in the coming days, this memorandum campaign will be run in the union units in Hansi, Ambala and other districts as well, so that the voice of the pending demands of the journalists can be effectively conveyed to the government and administration.
