Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 23: During the campaign launched by District Mohali Police against the bad elements as per the directions of Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans, IPS Senior Superintendent of Police District SAS Nagar, Shri Saurav Jindal PPS Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Shri Talwinder Singh PPS Superintendent of Police (Operation), Shri Jatinder Singh Chauhan PPS Sub-Superintendent of Police (Investigation) District SAS Nagar, Inspector Harminder Singh Incharge CIA staff team has succeeded in arresting 01 accused and recovering 76 live rounds (32 bore) from him.
According to the information received, on 19-06-2025, when the police party of CIA staff was present at TDI City near Airport Road, CIA staff ASI Jatinder Singh received a tip-off that Sahil Pannu, son of Baru Ram, resident of Urban State Jind, Haryana, who is living on rent in Flat No. E 306 in Gilco Park Hills on Airport Road, has illegal arms/ammunition with him. 
If he is caught and his flat is raided now, then illegal arms/ammunition can be recovered from him. On the basis of the tip-off, case No. 134 dated 19-06-2025 under Section 25-54-59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused at Police Station Balongi. The accused was arrested from his flat no. E306 Gilco Hills and 76 live rounds of .32 bore were recovered from the flat.

Questioning accused:-
Accused Sahil Pannu son of Baru Ram resident of House no. 3644 Urban State Jind, Police Station Sector-11 Jind, Haryana, now resident of Flat no. E306 Gilco Park Hills Sector-126 Balongi, Police Station Balongi, District SAS Nagar. His age is around 28 years, he is a 12th class pass and unmarried. (No case has been registered against the accused before)
The accused is under police remand. The accused is being questioned about from whom and for what purpose he purchased this illegal ammunition.
