The death of a Sikh pilgrim from Patiala who had gone to visit Gurdhams on Baisakhi

Patiala, April 22 - On the occasion of Baisakhi, a Sikh pilgrim from Patiala, who had gone to visit shrines in Pakistan, died of a heart attack. The deceased has been identified as Jangir Singh (67 years), a resident of village Ratta Khera. He was retired from Punjab Police and was currently residing at Urban Estate in Patiala.

It may be mentioned that a group of Sikh pilgrims from India went to Pakistan to celebrate Baisakhi festival. These pilgrims who went on a ten-day visa were returning today and were staying near Lahore. Meanwhile, Jangir Singh died due to a heart attack.
