
CDS and three service chiefs meet President Murmu.
New Delhi- Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan and the three service chiefs today met President Droupadi Murmu. Murmu was briefed on Operation Sindoor by the country's top military officers. India had targeted terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on the intervening night of May 6-7 under Operation Sindoor as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

“Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Air Chief AP Singh and Navy Chief Admiral DK Tripathi met President Droupadi Murmu and briefed her on Operation Sindoor,” the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a post on X.
