Nawanshahr - The daily wages of MNREGA workers in Punjab will be Rs 322/- for the financial year 2024-25 from 01 April 2024, which was Rs 303/- during the financial year 2023-24. Notification dated March 27, 2024 issued under Section 6 (1) of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), 2005 by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India regarding the rates of daily wages of MGNREGA workers throughout the country during the financial year 2024-25. According to the reference, this information was given by Baldev Bharti, convener of National Labor Organization (NLO). He said that this MNREGA wage will be Rs 374/- in Haryana and Sikkim, Rs 356/- in Goa, Rs 349/- in Karnataka, Rs 347/- in Nicobar, Rs 346/- in Kerala and Rs 329/- in Andaman. . In this way, Punjab will be at the 8th place in terms of the daily wage rate of MGNREGA workers compared to other states.
